THURSDAY, Nov. 6
6:10 p.m. – Joseph Russo, 43, of Peekskill was arrested and charged with obstruction of government administration and loitering for the purpose of obtaining narcotics outside of Bohlmann Towers. Police observed him acting suspiciously and Russo tried to swallow narcotics and flee when they approached. He was arrested by Officers Joe McGann and John Falcone.
FRIDAY, Nov. 7
2:35 a.m. – David Fonti, 44, of Peekskill was arrested and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for having three bags of crack cocaine in the 100 block of Nelson Avenue. Officers Dan Labodin and Mary Greenan made the arrest. Fonti and another man, Floyd Cheatham, 43, of Peekskill were also charged with loitering.
MONDAY, Nov. 10
11:21 a.m. – Diego Sinchi, 21, of Peekskill was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery, a class C felony, after he committed a strong-arm robbery in the 300 block of Ringgold Street on the evening of Nov. 8. He was arrested by Det. Marcos Martinez and Officer John White, who identified him after an investigation. A second suspect has been identified and police expect to arrest him shortly. No one was hurt in the robbery.

SATURDAY, Nov. 1
7:42 p.m. – Ruth A. Disraell, 40, of Wingdale, N.Y., was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated, both class E felonies, after driving her vehicle erratically on Eleanor Drive.
TUESDAY, Nov. 4
8:27 p.m. – Gary M. Deweese, 58, of Croton-on-Hudson was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a class E felony, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to signal a lane change, both traffic infractions. According to police, Deweese’s DWI charged was elevated to felony status due to a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years.
9:50 p.m. – Edward Dabrowski, 51, of Mohegan Lake, was arrested and charged with third degree assault, a class A misdemeanor.
According to police, a call was received from a Mohegan Lake resident reporting a domestic incident. Dabrowski was arrested and processed at police headquarters, then arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
THURSDAY, Nov. 6
11:15 a.m. – Craig Swarthout, 30, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested and charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended registration, both unclassified misdemeanors, following a routine traffic stop on Underhill Avenue.
11:52 p.m. –Percy R. Montes Jr., 23, of Cortlandt Manor was arrested and charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, and speeding in a posted zone, a traffic infraction. Montes was allegedly traveling on Route 6 in the area of Sunnyside Street over the 45 mph speed limit. After being pulled over by police, it was discovered that Montes was operating the vehicle while his New York State driver’s license was suspended.

FRIDAY, Oct. 31
2 a.m. – Robert O. O’Connor, 46, of Peekskill, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 south.
3:40 a.m. – Richard C. Wiley, 43, of Croton-on-Hudson, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Westbrook Drive.

11:09 p.m. – Albert J. Holland, 43, of Lake Peekskill, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Oregon Road near Hollowbrook Mews.
SUNDAY, Nov. 2
1:40 p.m. – Gustavo Gonzalez, 21, of Mohegan Lake, was arrested and charged with petit larceny after police responded to a complaint at the A&P supermarket on East Main Street.
4:27 p.m. – Jessica Watson, 28, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested and charged with larceny after police responded to a report at the Kohl’s store on Route 6.

8:40 p.m. – Maria Russo, 36, of Peekskill, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Conklin Avenue.
WEDNESDAY, Nov. 5
2:45 a.m. – William J. Cruz, 27, of Sleepy Hollow, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop at the Route 6 and Benefield Way intersection.
3:30 a.m. – Ashley J. Bell, 23, Elmsford, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 south.

FRIDAY, Oct. 31
8:15 p.m. – A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged with unlawfully dealing with fireworks by county police after reportedly throwing an M-80 at a group of 10 trick-or-treaters from a car in Montrose.
SUNDAY, Nov. 2
3:30 p.m. – A small fire was discovered in a pile of papers in a Dumpster behind Verplanck Fire Department headquarters and extinguished by firefighters. The fire is under police investigation.
MONDAY, Nov. 3
5 p.m. – Three 17-year-old Croton-on-Hudson females were arrested and charged with petit larceny after allegedly shoplifting from Kohl’s on Route 6 in Cortlandt Manor. Their names were withheld due to youthful offender status.
WEDNESDAY, Nov. 4
5:30 p.m. – Two Montrose residents reported that they had been harassed while driving on Alpine Drive on the way to visit a friend. The pair said that three young women approached their car, shouted obscenities at them and told them to leave the neighborhood.
FRIDAY, Nov. 7
9:10 p.m. – James K. McCarron, 52, of Cortlandt Manor, was arrested at his residence after an investigation into an earlier accident resulting in a car backing into the storefront of Marty's Formal Wear on Route 6.
McCarron was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. The charges are felonies due to a previous driving while intoxicated conviction.
SATURDAY, Nov. 8
11:18 p.m. –Sadayoshi Endo, 48, of Hopewell Junction, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Underhill Avenue and the Taconic State Parkway. The charges are felonies due to a previous driving while intoxicated conviction.

WEDNESDAY, Nov. 5
11:25 p.m. – John Frey, 44, of Croton Falls was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Officer Matthew Boner observed Frey driving over the double yellow line and onto the shoulder while on Route 100. After pulling Frey over, he observed a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. Frey was unable to walk upright and told the officer he had had a lot to drink.
Frey was taken to the state police headquarters where he refused to submit to a chemical test. He was issued ticket for DWI, as well as for failing to comply with a breathalyzer test and driving on the shoulder and was later released to a family member. He was due back in town court Nov. 10.
